The Doris Schwartz Gerontological Nursing Research Award
The Doris Schwartz Gerontological Nursing Research Award is presented by the Clinical Medicine Section of The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) in collaboration with the John A. Hartford Foundation Institute for Geriatric Nursing. Along with a cash prize of $300, the awardee receives a plaque and compensation toward travel expenses to attend the national GSA meeting. The Springer Award in Geriatric/Gerontological Nursing
The Springer Award in Geriatric/Gerontological Nursing is co- sponsored by the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and Springer Publishing. The purpose of this annual award is to honor a distinguished single work of research in applied geriatric nursing. Along with receiving a $500 cash prize, the awardee will be considered for publication by Springer Publishing Co., either in book or journal-article format.
